Aleshia is passionate about practicing preventive medicine. When asked why Family Medicine, she replied, “It is an opportunity to augment lives from pediatrics to geriatrics.” She graduated from Baylor University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then went to Arizona to further her education by earning a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences from Midwestern University in 2010. Most recently, she graduated from the University of North Texas Health Science Center where she received a Masters in Physician Assistant Studies as of August 2015. In her pastime, she enjoys traveling, watching movies, fellowshipping with others, “girl talk” and mission work.
